Meeting people and making friends in a new city can be challenging. But we have 4 tips that will make it easier:

One, ask people you know if they have any local connections. Chances are, one of them has a friend in your new city who you can reach out to.

Two, join a club or sign up for a class you’re interested in. This will help you find and connect with like-minded people such as fellow yogis, foodies, or lovers of Game of Thrones.

Three, get to know your coworkers. Even if they aren’t who you’d typically befriend, make an effort to get to know them. You might find an unexpected companion or two.

Four, create a profile on the Bumble BFF app. It’s just like Bumble, the dating app, except it helps people find friends! You’ll add photos and write a short bio, before connecting with other people on the app looking for friends in the area.

Follow these four tips to meet people and find some friends in your new city.
