Dear Thriveworks,

Could you provide guidance regarding electronic record keeping?  I am in a private practice – flying solo – and I consider myself somewhat of an old dinosaur when it comes to technology (I have been practicing 25+ years).  As a small one person office, how should I be proceeding regarding electronic record keeping?

Thanks in advance for your input.

Carol

Dear Carol,

Thanks for your question! I recently addressed this very topic in an article about EHR / EMR, which you can find here: http://www.thriveboston.com/counseling/electronic-health-records-ehr-and-electronic-medical-billing-in-today%E2%80%99s-mental-health-counseling-practice/

I Hope this helps!
Sincerely,
Anthony Centore Ph.D.
