Ivy Lee is a psychiatric nurse practitioner in the state of Florida. Ivy has started out as a patient technician at a drug rehab facility, moved to in-patient psychiatric hospital, and started working as a bedside nurse for two years. While being a bedside nurse for two years, Ivy has completed her master’s degree at Florida International University for her ARNP.

Ivy’s practice philosophy is to be holistic and individualize treatment. She wants to create a trusting relationship with her patients so that she can provide the best treatment. Ivy wants to provide a safe space for her clients, while maintain a professional environment.

Jill Burchenal, LMHC

Philosophy of Care

Jill Burchenal is a licensed therapist with over 20 years 

Counseling experience working comprehensively with diverse populations in individual and group sessions. She received her Bachelors degree in psychology at the University of South Florida and her Masters degree at South West Texas State University. Before returning to Tampa she was a Certified Mediator at the State Bar of Texas and a Certified Montessori and a qualified supervisor for Mental Health Interns in the State of Florida.  

She loves working with individuals, couples and families as they grow and cope with life’s many challenge so to help them find their own power and embrace their genuine self. She is intuitive and trained and will make it easier to grow.

Karen Allen, LMHC

Karen is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Board approved supervisor in the state of Florida. She has 11 years’ experience helping individuals three years and older adversely affected by abuse, neglect, and trauma. She has helped people with depression, anxiety, anger issues, life transitions, couple’s issues, and addictive/compulsive behaviors. Karen is certified in Integrative Medicine for Mental Health to help clients improve their mental health holistically. She completed her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida and her Master of Science in mental health counseling from Capella University.

Karen’s collaborative approach focuses on helping people engage their strengths as resources and realize their goals through skills building. Through trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral, mindfulness based, and somatic based approaches such as eye movement therapy. Karen designs therapy to best meet the unique needs of every individual and couple.

Kathy Thompson, LMHC

Kathy is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. Kathy is also a Nationally Certified Counselor and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. Kathy has several years of experience in working with children, adolescents and families. Additionally, Kathy works with couples and adult individuals. Lee Watters is a board-certified Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida, with five years’ experience working with adults and couples with a variety of issues, from simple anxiety and relationship problems to handling life transitions and career concerns. Before earning an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Florida, he had a 30-year business career, including time as a Hollywood screenwriter.  As a result, Lee also works effectively with entrepreneurs, executives, and creative types.

Working collaboratively using strength-based Solution-Focused Therapy, Lee integrates CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, and Narrative techniques and tools to help you get from where you are to where you want to be.
