My practice philosophy is to integrate an eclectic mix of modalities to individualize treatment and assist clients in resolving the issues causing distress in their lives.  I will support clients on their journey to acceptance of self and others. I will encourage clients to reach their potential whatever it may be.  I model critical thinking and problem solving to demonstrate skills necessary to navigate the complexities of life. Brett Burlone, LMHC

Philosophy of Care

Brett Burlone is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida who has 14 years of experience partnering with young adults and adults. Brett has served many people with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and specialized experience in work with the LGBTQIA communities. He completed his Bachelor in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University and received his Masters in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University.

Brett’s counseling style is genuine and direct. He believes in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. His approach is client-centered, with a focus of motivational interviewing to help encourage change. He wants to help work on agreed upon goals, and help bring awareness to you. He is adaptable to assist with your circumstances and specific needs.

Brett thinks it takes courage to come to counseling. He finds that being vulnerable safely with someone helps bring the possibility of improvement, awareness, and a better sense of self.

Edna PetitHomme is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in the state of Florida. Her education includes a Doctorate in Nursing Practice and a Master’s in Family Medicine from Florida Atlantic University. She received her Post master’s Certificate in Psychiatry at Florida State University.

She has training and experience treating and monitoring patient with psychiatric disorders. She has worked in community mental health serving and advocating for jailed individuals. Edna possess strong clinical skills enhanced by her ability to build rapport with patients. Edna follows evidenced based guidelines with clinical experience.

Gina Torchon, LMHC, has been providing counseling services to children, adolescents and adults for over 8 years. She has a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Palm Beach Atlantic University in Florida. Her approach to treatment is influenced by her diverse experience with inpatient care and outpatient care. Gina enjoys helping children and families struggling with a multitude of issues. However, she focuses much of her continuing education on evidence-based trauma and interventions such as Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and is a Certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy.

Ivy has started out as a patient technician at a drug rehab facility, moved to in-patient psychiatric hospital, and started working as a bedside nurse for two years. While being a bedside nurse for two years, Ivy has completed her master’s degree at Florida International University for her ARNP.

Leonie Sistrat is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in the state of Florida who is a highly motivated, dedicated and compassionate nursing professional with over 10 years of experience delivering quality patient-centered care. She obtained her degree in Nursing from Broward College, a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing and a Master of Science degree in Nursing from Walden University.

Lorraine Breiner, LMHC

Sometimes life has a way of presenting you with unwanted challenges, while you’re busy making other plans. You may realize that you can use some additional support when these challenges are causing you anxiety, stress, exhaustion, depression or other difficulties.  You don’t have to face these challenges alone. My goal as a therapist is to help clients explore the issues and challenges they face by listening, supporting and accepting without judgment.  I view therapy as a collaborative, sharing experience and seek to help my clients feel comfortable, hopeful, and truly understood. I believe that good counseling consists of providing a warm, safe and supportive environment to build on strengths and facilitate change.

Margaret Keig, LMFT

Philosophy of Care 

Margaret Keig is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the states of Florida and California who has 11 years of experience collaborating with adults, teens, children, couples, and families seeking help with depression, anxiety, life transitions, trauma, addictions, grief and loss, relationship issues, and spirituality. She is a Premarital Course Provider in Orange County, FL. She has many years of experience with the LGBTQ community, including work in HIV/AIDS and with Gender Identity following the WPATH Standards of Care. She completed her Bachelor of Arts at Pomona College and received her Master of Science in Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from San Diego State University. She is also an AAMFT approved supervisor and a Qualified Supervisor for MHC and MFT Interns in the state of Florida. Margaret is a Certified Clinical Telemental Health provider.

Susan has been working with a variety of client’s in the past that include, individuals, couples, and family counseling. Dr. Yveline Jacques is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner in the state of Florida. Dr. Jacques has been in the medical field for a total of 20 years and has been practicing psychiatry for the past four years. She is certified to treat clients across the lifespan, but she is specialized in adult psychiatry helping clients with a variety of psychic disorders including major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Dr. Jacques completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing at Nova Southeastern University.
