Philosophy of Care

I understand that finding the "right" therapist can be an anxiety provoking and overwhelming endeavor. As if you don't have enough to deal with. Well, I am here to make a difference. My hope is that you and I will be a great fit and grow together on the journey to a happier, healthier, stronger, and more focused you. My work has equally been with children, teens, and adults, addressing a wide array of concerns including anxiety, grief and loss, trauma and abuse, family and relationship issues, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), domestic violence and women's issues.

My approach is always non-judgmental, compassionate, and individualized to the unique situations of each person. I draw from a number of methodologies when working with my clients. Among these are Motivational Interviewing (MI), Person Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy.

Seeking therapy is a courageous step toward managing your mental health. You've done it! Allow me to provide a safe and secure platform for you to express and process your feelings, to be heard, and to be strong enough to take your life back.
