Philosophy of Care

Perhaps you struggle with intrusive, racing thoughts that prevent your full functioning. Maybe these thoughts have even led to negative behaviors that you wish to change like substance use, compulsive spending, codependency, gambling, inability to get out of bed, insomnia, or other areas of impulsivity. Some of these thoughts might even go unnoticed, existing unconsciously, and yet they still seem to overtake your rational mind. Maybe you are a couple or family struggling with not being on the same page, resulting in some discord and you don’t understand how to make the situation better because it seems like everyone has the same goals with different routes of obtaining them. Perhaps you are in your early twenties and struggling with what has been coined as a “quarter-life crisis,” and need guidance and insight into what steps to take next. Maybe you have recently retired and are struggling to get out of bed in the mornings without having a job to go to and wonder what your new life is supposed to look like. If you want to live a happy, fulfilling, and purpose-driven life resulting in your full functioning and potential as an individual, parent, child, or partner, therapy will help. 

Ashley Harms is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Certified Addiction Professional, and Certified Recovery Coach. Ashley has extensive experience in working with adolescents, adults, couples, families, and geriatric populations in the areas of mental health and substance use. Ashley found herself called to this field due to her own life experiences that were conquered, and she is driven to help others achieve their own, self-identified goals. Ashley takes a person-centered, non-judgmental approach to therapy and seeks to educate and empower her clients to best guide them to their ideal place of functioning. 

Starting any new relationship poses certain challenges and fears, let alone reaching out for help in a vulnerable situation. Ashley will welcome you with a warm smile and ease the process as much as possible. Scheduling a phone call or email to get an appointment set up is the first step, and once this step has been made, the subsequent ones seem to flow much easier. In an APA study in 2004, the results showed that 48% of Americans sought professional mental health help, and it can only be assumed that the number has grown in the last sixteen years. Delsondra Allen, LCSW

Delsondra Allen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida who has 15 years of experience working with children, adults, couples and families seeking therapy. She specializes offering marriage/ family therapy, therapy for individuals affected by medical and health issues, crisis stabilization, trauma, brief/ solution focused therapy, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, stress management and life coaching. Delsondra also has experience treating children, adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds. She completed her Master of Social Work degree from the University of South Carolina.

Edna PetitHomme is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in the state of Florida. Her education includes a Doctorate in Nursing Practice and a Master’s in Family Medicine from Florida Atlantic University. She received her Post master’s Certificate in Psychiatry at Florida State University.

She has training and experience treating and monitoring patient with psychiatric disorders. She has worked in community mental health serving and advocating for jailed individuals. Edna possess strong clinical skills enhanced by her ability to build rapport with patients. Edna follows evidenced based guidelines with clinical experience.

She is passionate about providing compassionate, quality, and comprehensive mental health services to her patients. Edna seeks to establish a caring relationship with you in order to improve your quality of life.

Heather Heath, LPC, LMHC

Heather D. Heath is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (Florida) and a Licensed Professional Counselor (Texas) who has over 10 years of experience providing individual, family, and marriage/couples counseling to individuals seeking assistance with anxiety, depression, relational issues, and trauma. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Public Health at the University of North Florida and received her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling from Webster University.

Ivy Lee is a psychiatric nurse practitioner in the state of Florida. Ivy has started out as a patient technician at a drug rehab facility, moved to in-patient psychiatric hospital, and started working as a bedside nurse for two years. While being a bedside nurse for two years, Ivy has completed her master’s degree at Florida International University for her ARNP.

Leonie Sistrat is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in the state of Florida who is a highly motivated, dedicated and compassionate nursing professional with over 10 years of experience delivering quality patient-centered care. She obtained her degree in Nursing from Broward College, a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing and a Master of Science degree in Nursing from Walden University.

Meghan Wilde, LMHC

Philosophy of Care

Meghan Wilde is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida with four years of experience working with adults, adolescents, and families seeking help with mood disorders, substance use, life transitions/life skills, and interpersonal relationship concerns. Rachel Mullins, LCSW

Rachel Mullins is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida with over 15 years of professional experience working with individuals and families. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Winthrop University and then went on to obtain her Master’s degree in Social Work at Florida State University.

Rachel specializes in working with survivors of trauma and sexual and physical abuse, and has experience helping clients who struggle with a wide variety of other clinical issues including depression, anxiety, relationship and interpersonal problems, eating disorders, self-esteem, and body image problems. Yveline Jacques, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC

Dr. Yveline Jacques is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner in the state of Florida. Dr. Jacques has been in the medical field for a total of 20 years and has been practicing psychiatry for the past four years. She is certified to treat clients across the lifespan, but she is specialized in adult psychiatry helping clients with a variety of psychic disorders including major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Dr. Jacques completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing at Nova Southeastern University. She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice from University of North Florida.
