Social Skills Group in Colorado Springs, CO

So much of our life is spent with other people. Learning the art of working in a group at school, or working out a conflict with a sibling – this is an important life skill. Some children and adolescents learn they lack proficient social skills the difficult way – by losing relationships and suffering tough consequences.
The good news is that socials skills can be taught! We teach our children to tie their shoes, to read, to ride a bike. Some children need more intentional instruction than others. If your child needs instruction and practice with social skills – let us help!

How does it work?
At Thriveworks Colorado Springs, we have several small groups. Our Social Skills group will meet a total of 8 sessions in June, July and Aug. There will be a 6 children or adolescents in each group, with 2 providers. There will be 2 groups offered with different age groups:
- Ages 8-10 years old (4th and 5th graders)
- Ages 11-14 years old (middle schoolers)
- The cost is $400 for the 8 sessions, per child.
We will meet at our convenient location at 5410 Powers Point Center (corner of Powers and Research). Feel free to drop your child off and do errands, or relax with coffee or tea in our comfortable waiting room.
