Millennial Group Counseling in Colorado Springs, CO
Has your son or daughter lost the direction in their life? Maybe their passions and interests have waned? Are they questioning what they want to do with their life? Are they lacking motivation to take the next step in life?
Failure to Launch, a 2006 romantic comedy, isn’t just another Matthew McConaughey movie, but portrays real life struggle of our young people. We have so many expectations of our children during the latter years of high school and after. We believe they have the skills to move out, get a job, go to college, join the military, etc. In our minds, we think, this is what the last 18 years has prepared them for! Surly they are ready! In reality, many millennials are feeling nervous, unsure, disconnected, lonely and lost.
As parents, we want to be the ones to offer the encouragement and advice. We want our millennials to respond to what we say. Unfortunately, during this tricky transition time, a person outside the family may have the greatest influence on your son or daughter. What if we, as parents, reached out and got support for them? At Thriveworks Colorado Springs, we offer just the support needed!
