My session with Ms. Garland focused on identifying my life events and how they impacted how I previously dealt with diagnosed type 1 bipolar disorder. She listened and engaged with me as I vocalized my immediate fear and overwhelming stressors. Ms. Garland sat with me to customize coping skills for my triggers, including mania during parenting young children and going through a divorce.
