It is an old wine in a new bottle. It is taught in most of the Indian Military academies for over seventy years as a Military psychology. All facets of PERMA were taught and have been practiced for so many years. Sure enough, West Point in USA and Sandhurst in UK would be teaching this. In corporate world in India, they have been talking about SWOT, Strengths Weaknesses Opportunity Threats for over half a century.
Norman Vincent Peale and many others have written on this subject. The hype on this so much that as if a new technique to reach Mars has been discovered. It is some thing like Tantrik sex studios in US based on Kamasutra, Mindfullness being touted as new invention.
