This is a good way to gauge where our priorities lie. It's easy to get wrapped up in the things we must do (like work) and slowly neglect the things that increase our joy and quality of life. God is of utmost importance to me, so I make sure there is always time for church, prayer, and Bible study. In the past, it was too easy sometimes to start taking a bigger slice of that pie in order to get other things done. Pretty soon, I would find myself barely making it to church and that's it. Then I'd have to go in and re-slice that pie so that things get back in balance. I work a lot. It's necessary. But I also find time to wind down, relax, and do the things that I enjoy.
