You are not “unattractive” I am sure. Although you may not feel beautiful or good looking you are created in the image of God and therefore cannot be bad looking. Aside from being created in the image of God I firmly believe that true beauty comes from the hidden person of the heart and that confidence and how you see yourself exudes to those around you. I pray that in the name of Jesus that the lie you are believing that you are just unattractive and not good enough would dissipate and that you would walk into your future knowing your full worth!~ I encourage you to write down all of the negative things you believe of yourself and then google the Bible verses to counteract them. Your online name is harsh truth but I believe that the truth is that you are created for a purpose by a Good God in HIs image for Good and amazing things! You are worthy and you are beautiful!

I want a romantic relationship. That is the gap in my life. 65 years old and never had a partner. That is a huge unfulfilled area, and no pet, volunteering, having an otherwise great life can dismiss that very legitimate desire. Of course I’m lonely, I have been alone all my life and got this “being happy being single” thing down. But being alone every single day of my life no longer serves me well. We all need human connection, and that includes intimacy and sex and romance and a genuine partnership, which I want. Doing more volunteering, getting a pet, being even more engaged with life will not counteract this unfulfilled desire I have. I wish these self-help articles would tackle loneliness that simply cannot go away.

more feel good fluff based on the Just World fallacy. the harsh reality is that some of us are just too physically unattractive to ever have any success with dating & relationships. everything in life comes down to chance and those who are unfortunate looking due to inferior genetics simply have to get used to being lonely & alone -simply because we are not good enough, despite whatever efforts we make make to improve.
