I was moved to tears while–and since– reading your very loving tribute to your Grandmother Barbara. It captured her eternally sunshiny personality perfectly.

She really did brighten every place she went and everyone she encountered. I always thought I was something super special when she called me “dear Bets.” Your “bomb” that she called EVERYone “dear” made me laugh through my tears; I should have figured. However, like you living with the enchanted idea of there being a talking rabbit in her backyard, I’m going to go on believing that I was very “dear” to your grandmother because she ALWAYS made me feel that way. I will miss her dearly.

I am so sorry for your and your family’s loss. I hope her spirit shines through you and Lisa the rest of your lives.
