I was diagnosed with Stage 1 Uterine Cancer and went to total hysterectomy. I have a cancer policy and filed a claim but my claim was denied because the expense is not one of the listed policy benefits.

Good blog with excellent content.Adding to content the insurance provider rejects a claim due to various reasons such as having a no covered charge, a referral or pre-authorization because of the usage of an out-of-network provider, minor transcription errors, the acceptance of claim in the wrong insurance company or other information errors.

As a LCSW, I saw a patient 2x for help with her adult son. Her claim was denied. I called and spoke to rep who then accepted the claim. Then it was denied again. I used the DSM-5 code Z71.9. whats the problem?

I am seriously thinking about starting my own counseling services for behavioral health. I know that I can accept insurance however, I am ignorant when it comes to what I need to do to collect monies for my services. I appreciate your comments regarding 17 ways that may impede payment. Reasons why insurance claims are being denied.
1)delay in paying premiums
2) claim is not filed on time.
3)claim is missing information.
4)Assurer changed the insurance policy.

I think that you are misunderstanding the article. We work to help healthcare providers accept insurance from patients.

Hi’ what if I was involved to the accident using a company vehicle. And I didn’t have a car liscence I only have a motorbike liscence, but my company doesn’t know about. Is the insuarence group going to notify that and decline the claime. Because when I filled the accident report I have ticked like I’m having C1 liscence for a car and I used my bike liscence number.?
