In high school, college, grad school and into my career, I have never been able to see myself as someone a woman would be attracted to sexually. I have always had a good balance of female and male friends, and while they would be discovering themselves as sexual beings, I was always – and still am – at a complete loss as to how to imagine myself as a sexual being at all. I am very attracted to women, but have never expressed my interest in any woman (no matter how attractive / interesting I have found her) because I cannot imagine anyone ever feeling that way about me.
