That’s a good question.
Therapists and clients alike are feeling the pinch of less income these days.
One thing that we have found is that clients with insurance can still afford their copays. What would you suggest we do in the current economy, when financial hardship prevent clients from coming regularly according to treatment plan, say agreed upon once a week sessions?
In my practice, this has led to premature termination in some cases, even though I have offered payment plan to help, or even adjusted treatment plan to bi-monthly sessions.
