Thanks for the tips! My relationship with my husband has been pretty rocky lately. He used to talk to me about everything, but he's been shutting me out lately. I want us to maintain a healthy relationship, so I want us to see a marriage counselor to help him open up to me about things that bother him in our relationship. I'm not sure how he'll take it if I ask him to start seeing a counselor with me though. These tips should help get my husband to see a marriage counselor with me. I agree, trying to instill hope by talking about how counseling would help us seems like a good way to get him to agree to seeing a counselor with me.

Hello, I love it when good sound advice is given to save relationships and not wasting time towards the healing process. My husband and I have been through 46 years of ups and downs, health issues on a daily basic, financial (what we could have given into ruin us) and break up the marriage; but we talked, know we adore each other and still love to hold each other, especially in those bad times. As an Inspirational speaker I speak on living life with gusto despite adversity. Acceptance, planning, and activate, my three rules of moving forward.

Keep up your positive work and smile 50 times a day!

I enjoyed your article - and am interested in linking to it on my counseling website. It would be helpful for clients wanting to bring partners to counseling. My practice is in Washington State. Thanks for the consideration - and for a great article!
