This is very early day 2 of the next chapter of my life. At 47, I’ve chosen to let go of a 9 year toxic, co-dependant marriage that followed a steady series of unhealthy relationships going all the way back to age 16. I’m fighting the urge to call or text him because I know that it won’t help me move forward. I am finally free to figure out who I am (apart from a man), to focus on myself and my own needs, and eventually learn how to be happy with ME… to finally know what peace feels like. I won’t find comfort on the other side of that phone, just misery, so, pushing past the lonliness is the only choice I have. I am worth it!
